They are my Family, SaSSy is also my Boss when she gets away with it, and
that's most of the time. They socialize with each other and with everybody
I do. Well, the two boys are kept apart, naturally. There are always at least
four of them at my feet at any given time while I'm at home and I always have
one with me when I go somewhere,
a different one every time, I don't play favorites. When the times comes,
the whelping box goes in my bedroom and stays there until I can't take it
anymore. I feed and doctor my babies with only the best, Nu Vet &
Farnam-Just Born for example. I demand the best for my babies and
after placement if for any reason you cannot care for the puppy, I reserve
the privilege of placing the puppy in another home. They are fully AKC applicable
and guaranteed to be healthy and free of genetic disorders. Their shots and
wormings are up to date. I like for all puppies to remain on
Nu Vet tabs for the first year! The tabs are not expensive and I've really
noticed a difference since I introduced them to their diet 3 years ago.
When I sell a puppy, I must be able to say that I have done everything I can
to produce a healthy dog. I want my dogs to live long happy healthy lives.
I want the owners to know the puppy they are purchasing comes from a breeding
program where health, longevity, and temperament drive the effort. It is not
enough to breed cute, pretty dogs. Genetic screening helps produce healthy
dogs. All of my breeders (Sires & Dams) have their DNA on file with
the AKC and all my puppies are micro-chipped and registered with the AKC's
Home Again program. This is done at my expense and is included in the purchase
price. I do this to keep myself in check and to insure you that you get what
you pay for. I strive to be the most responsible breeder I can.
PASSION!!!!! is the word that describes my relationship to my
Bull Terriers and their Bloodlines. My Bullies are socialized from day one
of their lives. They never get the chance to know that they do not get along
with each other or other animals, people included. By the time they are turned
over to their adoptive families they have been socialized with everything
from chickens, turkeys and ducks to goats, horses and lamas. Being aggressive
to any of these animals and all the visitors that come to my MENAGERIE is
simply NOT tolerated. If some simply rules of non aggression training are
followed they will remain loving,gentle creatures of God. My bullies live
and mingle with me and my friends and employees. They are not how I make my
living. I own a successful trucking company and an automobile and truck repair
shop. I sell all my puppies with breeding rights. I think everybody that can
afford to give these very special animals should have one. I will be
here, and I assure you that the genetics will only get better. My primary
responsibility is to make sure I leave the Bull Terrier breed better than
it was when I started. This is my mission!
My puppies are placed by pick after screening. Picks are determined on first deposit first pick and so on basis and nobody is held to a particular litter until their pick is made. These pictures are from my Labor Day litter, born 9-1-03, all
spoken for by 9-12-03. Two went to California, others to Virginia, Georgia,
Indiana, Washington state and New York.
PS: I am CAMERA CRAZY and keep photos coming the 8 weeks post pregnancy
before pickup or delivery of puppies. I will keep this website updated on
all litters and any additions I make to my line.
