"too many dogs in rescue"????? I waited SIX years, adopting three other-breed rescues, before finding a bullie rescue. My local BTCA contact was no help and I'd not have one now if not for my own persistence. Responsible breeders do their part, taking in rescues, limiting litters, and reclaiming their dogs at any point a buyer is unable to care for them to their standards.
The overpopulation problem is created by jerks who don't spay or neuter their pets because they're too macho or they think it'll be cute for the dog to have puppies they can sell.
I'll be proud to get my next bullie, adult or pup, from this gentleman.
